Fox News superstar Tucker Carlson just announced his plans for the future. Millions of fans across the country are stunned — they never expected him to make this move. Now, everyone is talking about it.
“This show is not going anywhere,” said Carlson. “It is getting bigger. People who run Fox News want more of it, not less, and we are grateful for that. We’ll have specifics soon.”
Carlson also thanked his loyal viewers for their “trust in us” and he pledged “to be worthy of it.” Ultimately, rumors began circulating that Carlson would be leaving Fox News due to many conservatives dropping the network.
He seems to have put those to rest for now, however, it has been a rough year for Fox News — and it is why alternatives have increased in popularity. Newsmax TV and One America News Network have been the two main beneficiaries.
The controversy appeared to start outright when Fox News’ Chris Wallace moderated the first debate between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden. Wallace’s bias for Biden was obvious the whole time.
Then, on Election Night, Fox News prematurely called Arizona for Biden and ended up having to walk it back — viewers were rightly outraged. But Carlson has been a bright spot on the network and fans will likely still turn up, at least for his show.
