President Donald Trump just won. The court has given him a massive victory and, while there is still plenty of work left to be done, the momentum has now shifted in his direction.
“A federal appeals court on Tuesday blocked a New York prosecutor from obtaining Donald Trump’s tax returns while the president’s lawyers continue to fight a subpoena seeking the records,” reported the Associated Press.
Since even before Trump became president, liberal politicians have been after Trump’s tax records — even though not a single law exists requiring the president of the United States to turn over these documents. This is another witch-hunt.

During the court hearing, one of Trump’s lawyers, William Consovoy, asked an important question: “Will the president be given an opportunity to appeal that ruling before his personal records are disclosed to the grand jury and the status quo is irrevocably changed?”
A lower court recently ruled that Trump’s records must be turned over to Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr.’s office, and this hearing before the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has now given Trump’s team more time. It is expected that this case will end up before the U.S. Supreme Court.
