Former President Trump has once again been proven right as Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC) admitted that the future of the Republican Party is directly tied to Trump.
Graham made an appearance on Thursday’s showing of Fox News Channel’s Hannity, where he said, “I would just say to my Republican colleagues, can we move forward without President Trump? The answer is no. I’ve always liked Liz Cheney but she’s made a determination that the Republican Party can’t grow with President Trump. I’ve determined we can’t grow without him. All of these people like Hershel Walker and all the people you just named are attracted to the Trump Republican Party, economic populism, America First agenda. If you don’t get that as a Republican, you’re making the biggest mistake in the history of the Republican Party.”
Representative Liz Cheney (R-WY) has found herself in deep trouble after supporting the impeachment effort against Trump and is being pushed out of power by the Republican Party.
Cheney believes that Trump is a problem that will weigh Republicans down when the truth is the opposite. Trump has reinvented the Republican Party and given it life, and Senator Graham seems to understand that well.
Trump has attracted entire swaths of voters that no Republican could attract before, and his America First platform is better than anything Republicans have had in the last thirty years.
Trump has been busy remaking the Republican Party to his liking, and for Senator Graham to admit the truth is a moment of vindication for Trump. Republicans have nothing without him, and it will be that way for some time.
