President Donald Trump followed through on a threat to release a contentious interview with Leslie Stahl ahead of its scheduled airing Sunday on CBS’s 60 Minutes, calling it “biased” and unfair.
Trump walked out of the interview before it was over, and refused to do a “walking” segment with Vice President Mike Pence.
“Look at the bias, hatred and rudeness on behalf of 60 Minutes and CBS,” Trump captioned the video, which he released on his Facebook page.
When Stahl asked if Trump could handle “tough questions,” he pointed out that no one in the media was asking opponent Joe Biden any tough questions.
CBS was unhappy with Trump’s decision to post the video, saying that the White House had agreed to record the interview for “archival” purposes only.
