President Trump slammed Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden for not being as smart as Hillary Clinton whom President Trump faced in 2016.
Trump acknowledged that while Biden is a more likable candidate, Clinton was “much smarter,” and therefore more of a problem.
Trump made these remarks during a speech to the Council for National Policy meeting in Virginia on Friday.
He went on to speculate about who he would rather have faced saying, “So, you know, I don’t know, maybe I’d rather have the smarter person. Who cares about personality, right? But that’s the difference. Very simple, isn’t it? She should have asked that question to herself. She’s like a crazed lunatic. She’s a lunatic. She is something, I’ll tell you.”
The President went on to talk about Joe Biden’s decision to pick Kamala Harris as his vice president calling her his “number one draft pick.”
Trump said, “She didn’t even get to Iowa. She never got there. She didn’t want to take a vote. That’s how bad she was.” President Trump certainly isn’t lacking enthusiasm with November only three months away.
