The same day President Donald Trump announced that he and First Lady Melania Trump have both tested positive for the coronavirus, White House doctor Ronny Jackson reported that Trump was doing fine and he was sure his recovery would be fast.
“I fully expect … this to resolve itself in the next 7 to 10 days,” Jackson said.
Jackson said the president may not have to quarantine for two weeks because he has a confirmed case.
He also said Trump’s case was caught early because of the White House’s aggessive testing protocols.
“It will affect the campaign more than it will affect his ability to do his job as president,” he said.
