Friday’s Rassmussen daily presidential tracking poll found that President Donald Trump’s job approval rating has rebounded back to 50%, with 48% disapproving.
It was the first time since February 27 that Trump’s approval had reached 50%, which was a high for approval since his election in 2017.
During the protests and rioting in June after George Floyd’s death, Trump’s approval in the poll went as low as 42% before beginning to climb back up again.
The poll talks to 500 likely voters for each of three consecutive nights and averages the results.
It seems that Trump’s newly positive attitude toward masks and other coronavirus mitigation efforts is yielding results.
