President Donald Trump just made a surprising move and even his campaign is shocked. We are less than 70 days from the November election, and no one expected this to happen. Trump had another idea.
Democrats are dumbfounded by the results of a CNBC/Change poll that shows Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden nearly neck-in-neck. In fact, as the fears of COVID-19 drop, Trump’s approval has started to rise and may be peaking at the right time.
Now, in the swings states of Arizona, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, Biden’s lead on Trump is negligible, and the numbers “do not show a marked polling bounce of support” for Biden “after the Democrat National Convention.”
The results are as follows: Arizona (Biden 49%, Trump 47%), Florida (Biden 49%, Trump 46%), Michigan (Biden 50%, Trump 44%), North Carolina (Biden 48%, Trump 47%), Pennsylvania (Biden 49%, Trump 46%), and Wisconsin (Biden 49%, Trump 44%).
“Forty-seven percent of voters now approve of Trump’s handling of the virus, up three points from earlier in August,” noted Breitbart News, which appears to be reflected in the aforementioned numbers. But that is not all they tell.
The poll “has a margin of error of plus or minus 1.4 percentage points,” meaning Trump could even be leading in North Carolina. This also means he could be much closer to Biden in the other swing states as well. Trump is poised to make history again.
