President Donald Trump has made the coverage of pre-existing conditions a central part of his health care plan that would replace Obamacare if the Supreme Court strikes it down in a future session.
His plan has three main pillars: more choices, lower costs, and better quality of care for Americans.
The plan would save patients up to 60% on their premiums and could even make premiums tax deductible.
“Through these and other reforms we are putting American patients back in charge and we’re putting them first,” Trump said.
Claims by the Biden-Harris campaign that Trump’s plan wouldn’t cover pre-existing conditions are a lie, Trump said.
