President Trump gave official notice that a notorious al Qaeda-linked terrorist was killed in a recent airstrike.
Jamal al-Badawi was a key player in the USS Cole bombing in 2000. He is responsible for the deaths of 17 sailors and the injuries of 39 others.
He has also been charged with 50 counts of terrorism offenses and has been one of the FBI’s most wanted terrorists ever since.
Al-Badawi targeted by a precision strike in Yemen last month, and Pentagon officials were finally able to confirm the success of the operation.
