President Donald Trump was just hijacked and the Republican Party is completely shocked. No one expected this to happen, and outrage has erupted in Washington. The political chaos shows no sign of letting up.
In response to Trump’s tweet opposing mail-in ballots as a total substitute for in-person voting, Twitter hijacked his tweet with an alarming message. “Get the facts about mail-in ballots,” it said, with a clickable link.
When people click the link, the next page is flooded with news stories from CNN, NBC News, the Washington Post, and several anti-Trump reporters essentially calling him a liar for expressing his concern about voter fraud.
“There is NO WAY (ZERO!) that Mail-In Ballots will be anything less than substantially fraudulent,” said Trump. “Mail boxes will be robbed, ballots will be forged & even illegally printed out & fraudulently signed.”
Trump continued by specifically singling out California Governor Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, for “sending ballots to millions of people, anyone living in the state, no matter who they are or how they got here.”
The mainstream media pounced on Trump’s comments. “A review of Trump’s many unsubstantiated allegations of voter fraud,” read a Washington Post headline, along with several other liberal outlets with similar attacks.
