President Donald Trump just received some tragic news. The White House is reeling — no one saw it coming, but the president needs our support now more than ever.
“Trump now has a 39 percent approval rating according to the Gallup poll conducted between May 28 and June 4, down from 49 percent earlier in May,” reported Breitbart News this week.
This means Gallup’s poll showed that his “job approval rating dropped ten points as the protests of the death of George Floyd reached their peak,” which is an unexpected turn of events.
Trump has made his position clear: He supports justice for Floyd and wants to protect the right to peacefully protest, as guaranteed by the First Amendment. But he will not tolerate rioting and violence.
However, politics is an emotional thing and, as such, polls are not more than a snapshot in time. Look for Trump’s numbers to bump up again as Democrats continue their march towards Marxism.
Let’s also remember: Trump defied the mainstream media polls once, and he can do it again. It is why he’s been so vocal about how skewed some of them can be. Don’t be fooled.
