President Trump got an important win as the mayor of Tulsa, Oklahoma agreed to lift the curfew for the huge rally set for tonight. It will likely be a crazy night for President Trump’s reelection campaign.
President Trump tweeted out that, “I just spoke to the highly respected Mayor of Tulsa, G.T. Bynum, who informed me there will be no curfew tonight or tomorrow for our many supporters attending the #MAGA Rally! Enjoy yourselves – thank you to Mayor Bynum!”
Trump’s rally in Tulsa was originally scheduled for June 19th but was moved back to avoid any speculation from critics about dog whistles.
Tonight’s rally is going to be a statement for President Trump and the nation as it will signal a return to normal life after the coronavirus lockdowns.
The nation has been in the grip of protests both violent and non-violent and thousands have taken to the streets. President Trump is now taking the opportunity to hammer home that Americans are done with the lockdown.
Democrats have already hypocritically raised concerns about the transmission of coronavirus at Trump’s rally. Those same Democrats have been dead silent as thousands marched in protests for weeks. President Trump’s rally will go on and it may be an important moment in the race for reelection.
