President Donald Trump is now said to trail presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden in a New York Times poll by 14 points.
In the poll, Biden had 50 points and Trump had 36. The poll showed Trump losing ground with black and Hispanic voters as well as white voters over age 65.
Voters are said to be unhappy with Trump’s handling of the pandemic outbreak and recent protests over police reform.
Swing state polls show Biden with a smaller lead–about the same as the lead polls showed Hillary Clinton having at this point in the 2016 campaign in most states.
Most early polls show Democrat candidates with sizeable leads, which narrow considerably as it gets closer to the election.
