An enemy of President Trump’s just resigned in disgrace. His career is completely over now, and criminal charges could even be filed. This is the end of the line.
Amidst an ongoing corruption investigation within the United Automobile Workers (UAW) union, President Gary Jones has tendered his resignation — just before the UAW’s board was likely about to expel him.

Jones is allegedly “UAW Official A” identified by the U.S. Justice Department (DOJ). Prosecutors are claiming that this official “conspired with Edward Robinson, a former aide to Jones, to embezzle up to $700,000 in member dues.”
But this is only the beginning. There are also reports of fraudulent expense reimbursements to the union, out-of-control spending, and even showing favoritism to family members.
According to the UAW, for example, Jones set up a weeklong stay at a union-rented townhome for his daughter, completely free of charge. All eyes are now on Trump’s DOJ and any criminal charges that could be filed.
