Two new polls show President Donald Trump with a lead over Joe Biden in Michigan with just over a week until the presidential election, after Biden had held a lead in that state for months.
The Zia/Painter Communications survey conducted between October 11-18 showed Trump with a 49-45 lead, which is outside the poll’s 2.5% margin of error.
85% of Republican voters said they were “very excited” about Trump, while only 70% of voters said the same about Biden.
45% of the voters in the poll said they would be voting in person with 55% voting by mail-in ballot.
A Trafalgar Group poll also showed Trump with a slim 46.7% lead over Biden, who had 44.9% support in the poll.
