President Donald Trump said that he ended a 60 Minutes interview with Leslie Stahl early because of how Stahl treated him, and threatened to release the video before it was aired on Sunday.
After 45 minutes, Trump walked out of the interview and did not complete it, multiple sources said.
Trump later tweeted that Stahl did not wear a mask in the White House despite questioning some Trump staffers who were not wearing masks. “Much more to come,” Trump said.
Trump also said he wanted to air the interview so “everybody can get a glimpse of what a FAKE and BIASED interview is all about…”
Trump also compared the press treatment he has been getting with that of Democrat opponent Joe Biden: “…Everyone should compare this terrible Electoral Intrusion with the recent interviews of Sleepy Joe Biden!”
