President Donald Trump just threatened to defund it and millions of Americans are shocked. People can’t believe that this happened, but the battle lines have already been drawn. Get ready for a fight.
“Department of Education is looking at this,” tweeted Trump, referring to the New York Times‘ 1619 Project — an attempt to remake U.S. history — and the possibility of it being taught in schools. “If so, they will not be funded!” he continued.
Trump was responding to a tweet warning Americans that the state of California “has implemented the 1619 project into the schools.” Concerned parents need to make their voices heard now before our children are indoctrinated.

According to Fox News, Cotton released a statement calling out the 1619 Project for what it really is — “a racially divisive, revisionist account of history that denies the noble principles of freedom and equality on which our nation was founded.”
Remember: the left has a difficult time winning at the ballot box, so left-wing revolutionaries have taken to infiltrating culture and springing a Marxist trap. The 1619 Project is part of this plan and implementing it into schools must be vigorously protested.
