President Donald Trump just accomplished his mission and Republicans are cheering. As we move quickly toward the November election, there is at least one person who isn’t happy: Joe Biden.
“The Democracy Institute/Sunday Express Poll shows that President Trump leads Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden 48 percent to 45 percent in the national popular vote,” reported Breitbart News this week.
Of course, presidents are elected state-by-state and not through a national popular vote, however, a nationwide poll can help gauge the sentiment of Americans — and now the momentum is shifting to Trump in a big way.
Breitbart also noted that Trump’s lead represents “a one point bump from the two point lead” from the same poll conducted in early August. Furthermore, he “leads Biden by seven points in key battleground states,” such as Florida, Minnesota, and New Hampshire.
In Florida, Trump is leading Biden 47% to 44% with 9% undecided. In Minnesota, he is leading Biden 48% to 45% with 7% undecided. In New Hampshire, he is leading Biden 47% to 43% with 10% undecided.
It will be interesting to see how undecided voters split, but with Biden showing that he won’t do anything to quell the violent rioting and Trump standing up for law and order, it is safe to conclude that these states will go to Trump on November 3.
