Representative Brian Mast (R-FL) dropped a bombshell claim that Republicans must move to impeach President Joe Biden for treason.
During an interview on Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Representative Mast held nothing back when it came to President Biden’s handling of the evacuation from Afghanistan.
Representative Mast said, “Impeachment is absolutely something that should be considered. I would say no less than 10,000 counts of reckless endangerment, all of the American lives over there. That’s the minimum. That is the real crime.”
Former President Donald Trump was impeached over allegations of quid pro quo. President Biden has done far worse than anything Trump ever did.
Representative Mast continued saying, “We know for a fact that the Taliban is the sworn enemy of the United States of America. We are still in the midst of the war on terror, and as I said, I would absolutely consider the manipulation of intelligence, giving aid and comfort to the enemy. All three of those things are part of what meets the constitutional definition of treason.”
Unfortunately, Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) seems unwilling to consider impeachment. President Biden seems safe, at least as long as Democrats hold the majority in the House and Senate.
