House Republicans launched an official attempt on Wednesday to investigate members of President Joe Biden’s family who may be profiting from the presidency, or trying to do so.
“Reports regarding President Joseph R. Biden, Jr.’s family members attempting to profit from their proximity to the White House have been disturbing and recurring,” House Oversight Republicans wrote in letters that Fox News obtained.
Members of the family that the House members want to look at include Biden’s brother Frank and his wife Valerie, and of course his son Hunter.
Huter Biden has recently launched an art career and is demanding up to $500,000 per painting, which the Rebublicans called “nothing short of a cash grab.”
“Unfortunately, these reports of President Biden using his former official positions of public trust to swell the coffers of his family members are widespread, and any hope the pattern of family self-dealing would finally stop when he assumed the presidency has been dashed,” the letters read.
