Tragic news is spreading nationwide. A young girl is barely clinging to life, and people are coming together to pray and support the family. This is America at its very best — and everyone is hoping for a miracle.
A one-year-old girl named Lillian Talboys of Arizona fell into her backyard poll — that’s when her brother jumped in action and pulled her out. She was “declared dead twice by medics before beginning to show signs of life,” according to reports.
The GoFundMe account set up to support little Lillian has already brought in over $10,000. While she has been in critical condition since the accident, a powerful message was left on the account by one of her relatives, Nathaniel Talboys.
“Today was a very good Christmas for Lillian and the Talboys family,” said the message. “We are truly blessed because of the skill and hard work of the PICU staff and everyone’s prayers.”
The message went on to say how Lillian “continues to make very good progress” and “her strong little heart is once again beating on its own.” Her lungs are also improving. This is nothing short of a “Christmas Miracle” to the family.
During an interview before Christmas, Lillian’s father said, “She’s fighting, fighting, fighting.” So, seeing this positive turn of events is surely welcome. Please continue to keep this precious child and her loved ones in your prayers.
