A tragic update about radio legend Rush Limbaugh just dropped. This news isn’t what anyone wanted to hear, and fans are bracing for the worst as his daily fight against cancer is taking a toll.
“I’m in the third wave of treatment now,” said Limbaugh during a recent radio broadcast. “There have been many cycles but this is the third wave and, this current wave, I have to tell you is kicking my ass.”
Back in February, Limbaugh announced to his millions of listeners that he had lung cancer and was undergoing treatment. Limbaugh, who is typically private about his personal affairs, was brutally honest but upbeat about his condition.
Shortly thereafter, he was honored during President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address with the Medal of Freedom — much to the chagrin of liberal Democrats who have hated Limbaugh and his influence for decades.
He continued to discuss his health this week and admitted his frail state. “For the last seven days, I have been virtually worthless, virtually useless,” he said. “I haven’t done much of anything except just try to rest and relax.”
However, Limbaugh, ever the optimist, also made sure to project hope that he will emerge victorious from this disease. “I’m doing extremely well, all things considered,” he said. Please continue to pray for him and his family.
