A high-ranking Trump official was just rushed to the hospital and the White House is shocked. As the story has spread nationwide, millions of people are expressing their well-wishes and prayers for a swift recovery.
“Former Donald Trump 2020 campaign manager Brad Parscale was hospitalized after allegedly threatening to harm himself in his home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, according to news reports,” reported Breitbart News.
According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, “A tense situation unfolded at a home owned by Brad Parscale […] after his wife called police to say that Parscale had guns and was threatening to harm himself, Fort Lauderdale police said Sunday night.”
Video footage of Parscale’s altercation with the police has been released and can be viewed here. Sadly, the situation doesn’t look good at all, and Parscale and his wife need support — and he is already getting it from the Trump campaign.
Tim Murtaugh, the Trump campaign’s communications director, said, “Brad Parscale is a member of our family and we all love him. We are ready to support him and his family in any way possible.”
There is no word yet on whether Parscale will now have to exit the campaign entirely, but it can likely be expected soon. This is simply too much controversy for an election that ends in only 35 days and Trump doesn’t need the distraction.
