BREAKING: Top GOP Senator Says It’s Over – White House Shocked

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) took issue with the continuing presence of National Guard troops in Washington, D.C. during an appearance on Fox&Friends Thursday.

“It is time to send the troops home,” he said. “Look, there are too many — too many troops left in Washington. I’m not aware of any threat to justify continued presence today around the Capitol, much less into the fall.”

Cotton went on to raise questions about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s role in security failures that played a role in the Capitol riot on January 6.
