A high-ranking Republican senator just issued a “cancer” announcement and millions of people are stunned. Even Congress is shocked right now.
“Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) on Monday described Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) views as ‘cancer for the Republican Party,'” reported Breitbart News.
He also said the freshman congresswoman from Georgia — who won her district with nearly 75% of the vote — spreads “looney lies and conspiracy theories.” Greene herself responded to the allegations in a statement.
“The real cancer for the Republican Party is weak Republicans who only know how to lose gracefully,” tweeted Greene. “This is why we are losing our country.” It would seem Greene and McConnell aren’t on speaking terms.
Regardless, the GOP must find a way to build a lasting coalition. The party is a “big tent” that includes conservatives, libertarians, and populists, and they have to learn to work together or the 2022 election won’t go well.
The enemy is the radical left and this can never be forgotten. Time spent fighting each other is time lost focused on retaking the Senate and retiring Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. It is really that simple.
