BREAKING: Top Democrat Resignation Notice – Fans Crushed

Former Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie (D) is calling on Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) to resign from Congress because of her “present” vote on impeachment and the time she’s spending on her presidential campaign.

“I feel very strongly the 2nd District of Hawaii must be fully represented,” Abercrombie, a former representative who served for almost two decades.

Gabbard has said she will not seek re-election because of her presidential run. She has missed 86% of congressional votes in the past three months.

A spokesperson for the congresswoman pointed out several legislative accomplishments including “opportunities for defense contracting for Native Hawaiian companies” and “better reporting on Red Hill aquifer protection.”

Gabbard is polling at less than two percent nationally and did not qualify for the last debate.
