A high-ranking Democrat was just completely busted. She has been caught red-handed and could be going down. People are demanding accountability.
New Mexico’s Democrat governor is on the defensive after a report this week detailed her office’s spending from a taxpayer-supported expense fund,” reported Fox News. The details are horrifying.
According to the report, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham “spent nearly $13,500 over a six-month period in 2020 on items such as groceries, dry cleaning and alcohol,” and Republican leaders have called her out.
New Mexico House Minority Leader Jim Townsend (R) and state Rep. Rod Montoya (R) are leading the charge to get answers from Grisham, who appears to living it up at taxpayer expense during a pandemic.
“In a time when people are hurting all over the state, using their tax dollars to buy Wagyu beef has got to be a little bit disenchanting to many people,” said Townsend, while Montoya said Grisham “should be paying” for these items herself.
Grisham is just one of several Democrat governors being criticized for abusing their power. California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) is facing a recall election and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) is caught up in a career-ending scandal.
