A high-ranking Democrat just recieved terrible news from the police. She has been found guilty — there is no other way around it. This is stunning.
Appearing on Fox Business, Detroit Police Chief James Craig excoriated Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) for her “reckless and disgusting” remarks about police. He really let her have it.
“What I say is, in our majority African American community here in Detroit, the majority support the men and women who serve every single day, they support us,” said James.
He went on to say that Tlaib’s comments are “not leadership” and offered a contrast. “Leadership is coming up with reasonable solutions, not knee-jerk reactions,” said James.
Ultimately, Tlaib is undercutting minority communities and all communities — especially in big cities — “who rely upon policing every single day.” But he didn’t just go after Tlaib.
James also said that Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) should resign over her comments along with Tlaib, both of whom have contributed to the radical, anti-police environment, and hurt their own communities.
