They just told former Vice President Joe Biden ‘no’ and his campaign is reeling from the news. His White House aspirations could be completely sunk now — and there’s nothing he can do about it.
“The increasingly credible allegation Joe Biden sexually assaulted Tara Reade in 1993 has taken a toll on the former vice president’s poll numbers,” reported Breitbart News this week. In other words, voters don’t trust him.
The scientific poll conducted by Morning Consult found that only “43% view Biden favorably,” while “48% of voters view Biden unfavorably.” His favorable numbers have gone down and his unfavorable numbers have gone up.
This is not where Biden wants to be right now, but it is a self-inflicted wound. The Reade allegations have taken a toll — especially as they have received more air time and Americans have weighed the evidence.
On top of that, Biden has become increasingly incoherent and out-of-touch. Being president of the United States is the most demanding job in the world and people are wondering if he has what it takes.
President Donald Trump, on the other hand, continues to show steady leadership through an unexpectedly difficult time and is working to pull the U.S. out of the COVID-19 crisis. Biden simply doesn’t stand a chance.
