Cassidy Hutchinson gave a scathing testimony at the January 6 Committee hearing, saying things that make former President Donald Trump out to be a loose cannon with no self control.
There is much speculation that any of Hutchinson’s testimony is accurate, and a lot of it has, in fact, been debunked in the last day or so.
Despite those reports, The Washington Examiner said former President Donald Trump is unfit for office, and they based that decision on Cassidy Hutchinson’s January 6 Committee testimony.
“Trump is unfit to be anywhere near power ever again,” the The Washington Examiner’s editorial board said.
“Trump is a disgrace. Republicans have far better options to lead the party in 2024. No one should think otherwise, much less support him, ever again,” the article continues.
“The Examiner’s opinion was formed upon Hutchinson’s secondhand testimony that Trump tried to commandeer the ‘the Beast’ after his January 6 rally,” reports Breitbart.
“Former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson’s Tuesday testimony ought to ring the death knell for former President Donald Trump’s political career,” The Examiner wrote.
CNN also reported that Hutchinson’s testimony was “a bombshell” with potentially huge repercussions for Trump.
Taylor Budowich, director of communications for Trump, tweeted that the CNN article is a joke. “There is literally no one left speechless—the testimony was not believable and its credibility has been destroyed several times over—but Fake News CNN won’t let the facts get in their way of peddling a narrative,” Budowich said.
