The White House staff have been notified. We are nearing the end, and one of President Trump’s top advisers just announced it. The plan was announced on national television.
Appearing on CBS’s ‘Face the Nation,’ counselor to the president, Kellyanne Conway, revealed how they intend to approach impeachment going forward. Trump and his staff are ready to fight against this witch-hunt.
“Kellyanne Conway says the White House is preparing for two scenarios — if the House doesn’t vote on articles of impeachment & for the possibility of a Senate trial,” tweeted One America News Network’s (OAN) Chloe Salsameda.
In her tweet, she included a clip from Conway’s ‘Face the Nation’ appearance, in which Conway goes into more detail about where the matter currently stands, even going so far to say the House may not move forward.
“If it does go to a trial in the Senate, and that is not certain right now, you’ve got a lot of Democrats wringing their hands that they did not see … overwhelming, compelling, clear and convincing evidence,” said Conway.
“Many of those Democrats, especially the ones who represent the 31 Trump-Pence districts from ’16, they have to go back home and say, ‘I know I promised to lower your drug prices … but we’re busy impeaching a president,” she continued.
