The decision was just made and John Bolton is furious. Trump’s former national security advisor is in the hot seat — and now he can’t escape scrutiny for his actions.
Fox Business’ Kennedy took Bolton to task on air for straddling the fence. She called out the stark difference between what Bolton has said in the past and the so-called ‘leak’ of his book to the New York Times.
“I want to know how he can square some of the salacious things that he has reportedly written in this book with, you know, saying that the president was ‘warm and cordial,'” she said.
Kennedy is referring to Bolton previously calling the conversation between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “warm and cordial,” yet now his book reportedly claims the opposite.
“So either he’s not a patriot and he was just disseminating propaganda on behalf of the president because he’s totally compromised himself, or somewhere in here he’s lying,” noted Kennedy.
Americans should take note of the timing as well. Instead of Bolton testifying before the House when he had the chance, material from his book leaked to the Times during the Senate trial. This wasn’t an accident.
