Representative Michael Waltz (R-FL) sounded the alarm warning Americans that we are funding “an absolute existential threat to our way of life,” and something must be done to address the growing China problem.
Representative Waltz called on Americans to “draw the line with all of these companies that have no problem boycotting Georgia, and their freely-elected legislature,” but have no qualms about working with China.
China is the undisputed greatest threat to the United States and the freedoms that Americans enjoy. China has integrated its economy with ours, and they are using that to infiltrate and subvert American interests.
Representative Waltz broke down the situation saying, “This is an absolute existential threat to our way of life, but we are fueling it from right here in the United States with our own money, with our trade deficit, with our pension funds in Wall Street that are investing over into China and fueling their military build-up.”
The issue of American companies investing in China should have been addressed years ago. China is exploiting slave labor and abusing human rights on a scale not seen since the Soviet Union.
While President Biden can’t be trusted to act on this growing crisis, Americans can start the grassroots efforts work. Republicans need to make standing up to China a priority in their 2022 platform.
