Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) just pulled the trigger and a major enemy of President Donald Trump is furious. With less than 20 days until the election, American voters are seeing exactly what is at stake in this election, and it’s more than mere politics.
Actor Jim Carrey of Ace Ventura and Dumb and Dumber has had a lot of time on his hands lately, given he hasn’t been relevant for over 20 years. He has taken to painting in-between rare acting jobs, and one piece of art caught Cruz’s attention.
This one in particular features Cruz burning in hell with a pained expression on his face. Carrey tweeted it out with the title “Ted Cruz, Hellbound Class of 2020.” Cruz himself responded, “Hey @JimCarrey can I get a copy of this for my office?”
It was a perfect response to Carrey’s pseudo-activism. In fact, over 50,000 people have ‘liked’ Cruz’s tweet compared to 21,000 ‘likes’ on Carrey’s original post. It is obvious who won this social media war.
Cruz, of course, would proudly display the painting if Carrey sent him a copy — he enjoys displaying the radical left’s unhinged behavior and doesn’t care if they hate him. He is fully confident in his beliefs and therefore laughs at the vitriol.
We will see of Carrey takes up Cruz’s offer, but it isn’t likely. The washed-up actor would have to take time away from continuing his hobby. In recent months, he has painted an unflattering depiction of President Donald Trump as well. Alrighty, then.
