During a tense conversation in which Tucker Carlson said respects but does “not believe” Ted Cruz multiple times, the two hashed out what Cruz really meant when he said that January 6 was a “violent terrorist attack” on our nation.
“We are approaching a solemn anniversary this week,” Cruz said previously. “And it is an anniversary of a violent terrorist attack on the Capitol, where we saw the men and women of law enforcement demonstrate incredible courage, incredible bravery, risk their lives for the Capitol.”
Tucker Carlson, who is under the impression that Nancy Pelosi and other liberals were behind the January 6 riots, did not appreciate Cruz giving so much creed to the liberal propaganda that supporting Trump is a form of domestic terrorism.
The segment began with Carlson telling Cruz that Cruz told “that lie on purpose,” paving the way for what was going to be a tense conversation.
Cruz immediately tried to take the sting out of his previous remarks, but Tucker wasn’t letting the Texan off the hook that quickly.
“I don’t buy that,” Carlson interrupted. “I guess I just don’t believe you.”
