Influential Democrat Senator Joe Manchin is typically moderate in his statements and policies, but he has stepped far left and is flirting with radicalism in his recent suggestion about the removal of Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley.
Discussing the actions of Cruz and Hawley leading up to January 6th, Manchin said what Cruz “did was totally outside the realm of our responsibilities or our privileges that we have.”
Manchin said removal of Cruz and Hawley using Section 3 of the 14th Amendment should “be a consideration.”
But Manchin also said “Ted’s a very bright individual and I get along fine with him. But what he did was totally outside the realm of our responsibilities or our privileges that we have.”
