It’s a major win for Christians and other proponents of religious liberty:
The Supreme Court sided 6-3 this week against Maine’s education program, which excludes tuition assistance for children attending religious schools.
Obviously it’s not okay to tell some kids they can have assistance and some kids they can’t based on their religion, but remember, it was liberals that came up with that idea in the first place.
Luckily we have a Supreme Court that knows what the First Amendment says. Freedom of religion is a HUGE part of that.
Distributing government dollars differently because of the religion of the subjects was NEVER going to be okay.
It’s a shame that the lawmakers in Maine ever thought this would be acceptable.
“We are thrilled that the Court affirmed once again that religious discrimination will not be tolerated in this country. Parents in Maine, and all over the country, can now choose the best education for their kids without fearing retribution from the government.” @_KShackelford
