BREAKING: Supreme Court Makes School Prayer Decision – WOW

The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case that could result in the protection of religious expression for Americans.

“The Supreme Court will hear remarks from a former high school football coach who is battling Bremerton School District’s ban on postgame prayers with players, which cost him his job,” reported Fox News.

“Joe Kennedy, a retired Marine Corps gunnery sergeant, was initially suspended and then fired in 2015 after he refused a Washington state school district order to stop praying silently for 15-30 seconds alone on the field after the conclusion of the game,” reports Fox News.

Kelly Shackelford, President and CEO of First Liberty, which is representing Kennedy along with Kirkland & Ellis LLP, led by Paul Clement said, “No teacher or coach should lose their job for simply expressing their faith while in public.”

“By taking this important case, the Supreme Court can protect the right of every American to engage in private religious expression, including praying in public, without fear of punishment,” Shackelford added.
