A bombshell just dropped about the upcoming Super Bowl. According to one high-ranking official, it isn’t happening and millions of people are stunned.
“As much fun as it is to get together at a big Super Bowl party now is not the time to do that,” said Dr. Anthony Fauci. “Watch the game and enjoy it, but do it with your family or with people in your household.”
Put another way, Fauci wants Americans to cancel any and all Super Bowl plans — unless the plan is to simply enjoy the game with immediate family members at home. Will this advice be heeded?
While, certainly, everyone is encouraged to be safe and smart, but people are tired of Fauci and other government officials trying to dictate every aspect of American life. Risk is something we deal with every day, after all.
It should also be said that while “the coronavirus has indeed spiked in several states across the country, it’s notable that states that have enacted the strictest social distancing measures … have not always fared better than states with fewer restrictions,” reported Breitbart News.
In the end, Americans are going to make their own risk assessments and decisions. For some, going to a Super Bowl party may be ill-advised, while it may not be a problem for others. Fauci needs to understand this truth.
