The Biden administration is considering a plan to give amnesty and reparations to around 1,000 adult illegal immigrants who were deported under the Trump administration while their children remained in the U.S. in the custody of HHS.
The parents would come back to the U.S. to reunite with their children and receive permanent residency, compensation and access to social services in the U.S.
The action would be part of a settlement being negotiated by the administration and the ACLU.
“We are committed to working with the private sector and with the NGOs, attorneys, and advocates who have done tremendous work in support of these families,” a DHS spokesperson said.
If President Joe Biden gets everything he wants, all 11 to 22 million illegal immigrants will get amnesty in the end, because Democrats need more voters to continue to stay in power.
