President Joe Biden said in a speech on Tuesday about the coronavirus that people who weren’t vaccinated are not able to celebrate the holidays safely with loved ones.
“I know some Americans are wondering if you can safely celebrate the holidays with family and friends,” Biden said during the White House speech. “The answer is, yes you can, if you and those who celebrate with you are vaccinated.”
“People with booster shots are highly protected,” he said. “Join them. Join us. I honest to God think it’s your patriotic duty.”
The problem is, Biden’s logic doesn’t make any sense. He went on in the same speech to say that vaccinated people were “protected from death.”
So how then are unvaccinated people putting others at risk, if those others are fully capable of protecting themselves? If you are protected by a vaccine, then unvaccinated people can’t put you at risk. Right?
