The shock resignation of a Fox News star blindsided the nation yesterday.
Former Trump adviser Sebastian Gorka is no longer going to be a Fox News contributor, according to a network spokesperson.
Gorka spent seven months as deputy adviser on national security to President Trump at the beginning of his administration.
After parting ways with the Trump administration, Gorka signed on to the Fox News Network as a national security strategist.
Gorka plans to move on to a position with Sinclair Broadcasting. The parting of the ways appears to be mutual. Gorka’s contract with Fox News expired and he chose not to renew it.
Gorka explained that “Fox News and Fox Business Network have both been very good to me.” He expressed excitement about his new position, saying his new show will “allow me to go deeper on the key issues of the Trump era.”
