She confirmed it. She’s resigning.
According to Breitbart News, “President Joe Biden’s ‘border czar’ will leave the White House, as the administration continues struggling to handle the migration crisis on the Southern border.”
That didn’t last long.
Roberta S. Jacobson, who leads the diplomatic effort in Central America, told the New York Times she will step down at the end of April.
The announcement coincided with the news that Biden had ordered Kamala Harris to take the lead in addressing the migrant surge along the southern border.
Jackson denied that being the reason for her resignation. “Nobody could be more delighted to see the vice president take on that role,” said Jackson. “It didn’t have anything to do with my decision.”
