Britney Spears’ court-appointed attorney has announced that he will resign from the much-maligned conservatorship after Spears said in court that she felt it was abusive to her and that she wanted it to end.
Spears also criticized the attorney, Samuel Ingraham III, directly and said she wished she could hire a different lawyer of her own choice.

Ingraham said he would step down as soon as another lawyer is hired.
