Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and her family are stunned. She was just kicked out — they can’t believe what just happened. The news is spreading across the nation now. This is incredible.
According to the Washington Examiner, Twitter suspended the account of Speaker Pelosi’s daughter, Christine Pelosi, for the “glorification of violence” against Senator Rand Paul (R-KY).
In a now-deleted tweet, she said, “Rand Paul’s neighbor was right.” As everyone knows, Paul was violently attacked by one of his neighbors, a man by the name of Rene Boucher; he was later charged with a felony.
Boucher broke several of Paul’s ribs, yet Pelosi’s daughter somehow thought it was acceptable to publicly promote such a violent act. People rallied to the senator’s defense and Twitter eventually did something about it.
“The account owner was temporarily locked out for violating the Twitter rules against glorification of violence,” said a spokesperson for Twitter, according to the same Washington Examiner report.
It appears that not even the daughter of Speaker Pelosi can get away promoting assault. Twitter should be commended for acting and sending a message that such behavior will not be tolerated.
