Hillary Clinton endorsed Joe Biden for president during a town hall on women’s issues, despite the fact that sexual assault allegations against Biden have not been disproven.
“I want to add my voice to the many who have endorsed you to be our president,” Clinton said, adding that Biden is a “friend” and that he has been “preparing for this moment his entire life.”
“This is a moment where we need a leader, a president, like Joe Biden,” alluding to the coronavirus outbreak.
Biden said he appreciated her endorsement, but some feel that she might be looking to get him out of the way so that she can be the nominee instead.
“He has the experience,” Clinton said of the former vice president after his Super Tuesday victory. “He knows what needs to be done, he can repair the damage that he would be inheriting.”
