Betty White’s passing at the age of 99 stunned Americans nationwide and many Americans are grieving by recounting White’s legendary career.

Many younger Americans aren’t as familiar with White’s accomplishments, something that will certainly change with White’s passing.

White worked in the show business for over 70 years and one would be hard pressed to find a more prolific and accomplished American in that field.

White got her start on Television all the way back in 1939 and the rest is history. Betty White would go on to work build her legend on “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” and “The Golden Girls,” where White had her arguably most impactful role.

White won five Primetime Emmys and one competitive Daytime Emmy in her seven decade entertainment career, which is a Guinness World Record.

Betty White’s passing while tragic is a great moment to reflect on an incredible career and the fulfillment of the American dream.
