Education Secretary Betsy DeVos sent in a letter of resignation to the White House, citing President Trump’s alleged role in the protests that occurred at the capitol.
In the letter, Devos said, “Impressionable children are watching all this, and they are learning from us. There is no mistaking the impact your rhetoric had on the situation, and it is the inflection point for me.”
“Think of the children” is a talking point that many would expect from the radical left in their bid to gain any foothold against President Trump. However, for DeVos to embrace such absurd thinking raises questions about her fitness to serve in the Trump administration.
There is no room on any Republican administration for weak individuals who buy into mainstream media rhetoric and hyperbole. For DeVos to stoop to such a low after President Trump fought for her for years is just sad.
Many Republicans are showing their true colors now that the cards are on the table. They are turning and betraying the President in droves after all Trump has done for them.
Trump supporters would do well to remember these people and how they failed in the 11th hour. There is no room for weakness in the future Republican party.
