Former Vice President Joe Biden is devastated. She just left him unexpectedly, and it is spelling doom for his White House run. Things can’t get any worse for the presidential hopeful.
According to reports, Vanessa Cárdenas, who led the Biden campaign’s efforts to reach the Latino and African-American communities, has exited the campaign due to “less value” being placed on Latino outreach.
“Vanessa kept banging her head against the wall trying to get them to take the community more seriously,” said a source close to Cárdenas. “And Biden just really won’t change when it comes to the way he talks about immigration.”
Cárdenas’s Twitter bio now says “formerly @joebiden,” and this departure — at least to liberal activists in the Democratic Party — won’t be seen as favorable. Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders could benefit the most.
The two far-left politicians have called for a total moratorium on deportations — something Biden has refused to do — and the departure of Cárdenas is only going to make his problem worse.
Biden doesn’t yet understand that the far-left controls the Democratic Party now; what little shred of commonsense it had is gone. By all means, however, he is welcome to keep making mistakes that cost him the nomination.
